Starting the Year with a Scare

This new years was the first time I didn't spend the count down with my family. I was with Jason for the count down, but prior to the count down I got a phone call from my mom. She was frantically asking me where I was at. She was at Boulder Station casino gambling for our traditional money throw for the kids. When all of a sudden people started running and yelling "bomb!" A guy claimed that he was wearing a bomb vest and was threatening to detonate it. My mom quickly went outside and was trying to find all the kids. My aunt had left my little cousins at Kids Quest which is a babysitting center in the casino. Since they weren't prepared for situations like this, they had all the kids outside without any shoes and jackets. With everyone running around her, my mom was trying to stay calm and get the kids so they can leave. It's a good thing the man didn't have a bomb on him and I hope he gets maximum punishment.
